Review on the children interactive alphabet — ABC Book: When I grow up. Android

Introduction

The application has been developed for adults who want to help their children learn the letters of the English alphabet as well as introduce the variety of existing professions to them. Designed in the form of a children book with colorful illustrations and games it should contribute to the pleasant learning and pastime of an adult and a child.

At the very beginning, the application introduces us to the back story: a vivid picture depicts a boy with an expression of curiosity on his face, who is surrounded by cute animals - they all have attributes of different professions, which our little hero will have to learn about. At the bottom of the picture, you can see the names of the developers who have worked on the book.

Contents

After a short loading time, the map appears in front of us, which consists of 26 cells - just as many letters in the English alphabet, and it is the exact amount of levels to go through. Also, there is the letters order shown by an arrow that leads from "A" to "Z" and ends at a cell with the image of the door key - but more on that later.

We are offered to click on the first letter of the alphabet - A. The book turns over and here's the first character - the Ape. He is an actor. Actors are known for dressing up and playing different roles - the things we will help the Ape with. By dragging the costumes from the hanger the animal will try on the roles of Captain America, Indiana Jones, and the Super Star basking in the rays of glory on the red carpet.

After the successful completion of the first level, we get a piece of the key. We will receive such pieces each time the game level's passed until we restore the whole key leading to knowledge.

B

We are invited to flip the page by clicking on the bent book page at the bottom right corner of the screen, and we get to the page of the letter B. We are met by a little bear, who's sitting surrounded by gold coins. He is a banker. And as bankers store the money there is a piggy bank next to him, which the bear should put 10 coins in. After helping him we will be rewarded with one more key piece and will get the access to the next level.

Now by clicking on the folded edge of the page, we are getting to see the cat. He is dressed in a baker's suit and ready to make cakes because his profession is a Cakemaker. We need to make 2 cakes to get one more key piece in return for our work.
